Birmingham Live reported on Saturday that Aston Villa are among a group of clubs said to be keeping tabs on a teenage player who recently made a record-breaking first-team debut. The publication did not identify the youngster by name or specify which record was broken during the appearance.
According to the report, Villa form part of a lengthy list of teams credited with an interest in the prospect. No suggestion of a formal approach or agreed fee accompanies the claim, and the club have not commented publicly on the matter.
With the summer 2026 transfer window having closed on 1 September, Premier League clubs cannot register new signings until the January 2027 window opens. Any potential pursuit of the unnamed teenager would therefore remain at the scouting stage for the foreseeable future.
