The report noted that the title, which launches on 25 September, is available to pre-order on PlayStation 5 at a reduced effective price through a cashback platform.
According to the outlet, new members of TopCashback can bring the cost of the standard edition down from £62.95 to £46.90 when purchasing via The Game Collection. Existing members of the cashback site would pay slightly more, while major retailers such as Amazon and Argos were listed at full price.
The game itself introduces several updates to the franchise formerly known as FIFA, including redesigned set pieces, improved spatial awareness and off-balance dribbling mechanics. A new open-world mode called ‘The Grounds’ expands the existing Clubs feature, allowing online matches ranging from two-on-two encounters to full eleven-a-side tournaments alongside returning modes such as Ultimate Team and Manager Career.
On the pitch, Villa and Forest played out a goalless draw in their respective league matches the previous weekend before meeting at Villa Park on Saturday. That 3pm kick-off was not selected for live UK television broadcast.
