
Motorcyclist dies following collision near Bodymoor Heath
A fatal crash occurred close to Aston Villa's training complex on Thursday evening.

A motorcyclist has died following a road collision close to Aston Villa's training facility in Warwickshire. Birmingham Live reports that the incident occurred during the evening of 3 September in the village of Middleton.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a car where the A4091 meets the lane leading towards the club's headquarters. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed crews were called shortly before nine o'clock at night.
Paramedics discovered the rider in a critical condition upon arrival, with an off-duty nurse already providing assistance. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care vehicle attended the location.
Despite receiving advanced life support and trauma treatment at the roadside, the man could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff.
The incident has no connection to Aston Villa Football Club beyond its proximity to the Bodymoor Heath site. Warwickshire Police are understood to be handling the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
