Aston Villa know exactly when and where they will play in this season's Champions League after their full league phase schedule was confirmed by Birmingham Live on 29 August. The campaign opens with a trip to Belgium to face Club Brugge on Tuesday 8 September, kicking off at 5.45pm.
Villa Park hosts its first European night of the competition on Wednesday 14 October when Fenerbahçe visit for an 8pm start. A second consecutive home fixture follows a week later, with Viking arriving on Wednesday 21 October, also for an 8pm kick-off.
The glamour ties arrive in the middle portion of the schedule. Villa travel to FC Barcelona on Tuesday 3 November before heading to Istanbul to take on Galatasaray on Tuesday 24 November, both matches starting at 8pm and 5.45pm respectively.
Paris Saint-Germain then come to the West Midlands on Tuesday 8 December for another 8pm encounter. The league phase concludes in the new year with Borussia Dortmund visiting on Tuesday 19 January and a final away trip to Slavia Praha on Wednesday 27 January, both at 8pm.
The club stated that full ticketing details for all eight fixtures will be announced in due course.
