Aston Villa open September Player of the Month vote
Supporters can now have their say on who stood out during a busy month that included Champions League and cup football.
Aston Villa have opened voting for their September 2026 Player of the Month award, inviting supporters to select the standout performer from a fixture-packed few weeks. The poll was launched by the club today.
Unai Emery's side played four times during the month, beginning with a goalless draw at Hull City in the Premier League on 5 September before travelling to Belgium three days later to beat Club Brugge 3-2 in the Champions League.
Back at Villa Park on 12 September, Forest left Birmingham with a 2-1 league victory, but Villa responded in the League Cup on 16 September by beating Coventry City 3-1 away from home.
Any player who featured in those four matches is eligible for the award, which will be decided entirely by supporter votes cast through the club's official platforms.
Villa next play Brentford at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday 10 October.
